Great progress for PRINCE2tm in France

During the Project Management show in Paris, we saw a big shift in interest for the method.
We have been present at the ‘Rencontres du Management de Projet’ now for the 4th time and this is the first year people came to us asking about and requesting information about PRINCE2tm.
The other years we had to explain what the method was, and this year people knew.
We feel that our efforts are starting to pay off and that we are now truely in the first phase of development of the method in the french marketplace.
We will keep you informed of progress.

Easter is very early this year and with it came snow, and tons of it.
As most of you in Europe, our offices are completely covered with snow.
anyway, it doesn’t reduce our spirit which we keep high to work harder to help the development of PRINCE2tm in France.

RMP 2008 Paris CNIT

Once again PMGURU France will be present at the RMP Exhibition (Les Rencontres du Management de Projet).
This year the show is at the CNIT in Paris La Défense on the Tuesday 15 April and Wednesday 16 April 2008.

Soon there will be a french version of the manual.
Currently, we expect there will be a french manual available early February, but that can still change at this stage.
A couple of very good signs however is that an ISBN number has been allocated for the manual and that there is some intensive pre-production work going on.
I’ll keep you informed as i’m told of progress.

We are changing quite a few things here at PMguru.com.
Mainly because we are aware of the growing need for web security and also we like finding new ways to present content.
Not only the look and feel of the site has been improved but we hope that the whole experience of our site will make each visit more useful and increase membership.

Founder of PMguru.com launches PRINCE2™ in France…

With over 15 years Project Management experience, and some years being an assessor and examinor for the method, John Higham has now also become an approved PRINCE2™ trainer.
Many thanks to CUPE Ltd ATO (Accredited Training Organisation) for sponsoring him to become an approved trainer and many many special thanks to Sheila Roberts for her moral support, motivation and encouragements.
In fact, John Higham is now the first approved PRINCE2™ trainer based in France where he will spend whole his energy bringing the methodology into the french marketplace.
John Higham is currently finalising a couple of books on the method, mainly aimed at those who are registered practitioners and who want to improve their experience and use of the method in a real project environment.
PRINCE2™ is a registered Trade Mark of OGC (Office of Government Commerce) and part of their Best Practice Portfolio.
